11062019 There are a number of golden trout lakes in the Sierra Nevada range but the Treasure Lakes in the Little Lakes Valley are by far the most productive in my experience and are managed under the general fishing regulations for the Sierra District of the California Department of Fish. It seldom reaches sizes larger than 7 or 8 inches in streams but lake specimens will often exceed 1 foot in length. Tiger Muskie limit is 2 none under 40 inches.
